GPF Lewis is proud to present Project Anatomy, a remarkable commercial redevelopment project located at 85 Gray's Inn Road, London. This transformative project revitalised a redundant office space, breathing new life into the heart of the city's Knowledge Quarter by converting it into a modern Cat A Life Science facility.

Delivered through a collaborative JCT DB 2016 contract, Project Anatomy exemplifies GPF Lewis Construction's commitment to sustainable construction, targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating. The project involved a comprehensive strip-out and refurbishment, creating a blank canvas for the incoming tenant. To provide a robust foundation for the reimagined space, our team implemented basement piling and a new steel frame within the courtyard. Additionally, a complete upgrade of the building's MEP services ensured the integration of high-performance, state-of-the-art systems.

Project Anatomy further extended its reach with the construction of a new substation and plantrooms, designed to efficiently power the upgraded building systems. For a sleek and modern first impression, the project encompassed a complete revamp of the lift and reception area. The building's aesthetics and functionality were further enhanced through the installation of a new entrance and a stylish glazed canopy.

This project stands as a testament to GPF Lewis' unparalleled expertise in complex commercial refurbishments. Our team successfully navigated a 74-week programme, delivering a high-quality Cat A Life Science facility that perfectly caters to the needs of London's thriving scientific community.
