We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our latest project, the transformation of 85 Grays Inn Road in London's Knowledge Quarter into a premier Cat A Life Science space. This ambitious undertaking involved a complete overhaul of the existing building, demonstrating our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of the life sciences sector.
The project encompassed a wide range of complex engineering and construction challenges. We undertook a comprehensive strip-out of the building, followed by the installation of a new basement level through extensive piling works. The courtyard was reinforced with a new steel frame and concrete structure, while intricate services were integrated throughout the building. To support the increased energy demands of the life science laboratories, we installed a new substation and plantrooms at roof level. Finally, we added a fifth floor extension, complete with a stunning roof garden terrace, providing a much-needed outdoor space for occupants.
This project underscores our ability to deliver exceptional results in even the most demanding environments. We are proud to have played a pivotal role in creating a state-of-the-art facility that will foster innovation and drive growth within the life sciences industry.
