From Carpark to Cutting-Edge Office Space

Christopher Yard's Reinvention

We're thrilled to announce the successful completion of our Christopher Yard project! This innovative project involved transforming a former multi-story carpark into a state-of-the-art office building, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable redevelopment and creative solutions.

Christopher Yard is located within the 26 Finsbury Square complex, a 9-story office building redeveloped in 2010. Our scope of work included the complete overhaul of the carpark structure, incorporating sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems. We decommissioned the existing life safety generators and installed a new, more efficient 120kVA replacement.

To enhance the building's functionality and aesthetic appeal, we partially demolished the carpark and added a distinctive 'pod' extension on the first floor. The project also featured a unique CLT roof designed to accommodate mechanical plant while contributing to the building's overall sustainability.

Inside, we transformed the basement, ground, and first floors into flexible office spaces, complete with a new cycle store, communal facilities, and a visually striking mezzanine level. The interior design incorporates a mix of modern finishes and natural materials, creating a welcoming and productive work environment.

We're incredibly proud of the outcome of this project and grateful for the collaboration of all the talented individuals involved. Christopher Yard stands as a testament to our ability to deliver exceptional projects that exceed client expectations and contribute positively to the urban landscape.
