Park Apartments' Exterior Gets a Modern Upgrade
GPF Lewis has successfully completed another major façade remediation project, this time at Park Apartments in Brighton. The project involved a comprehensive overhaul of the building's exterior, replacing existing combustible materials with a new, fire-resistant façade.
A key challenge of the project was the fact that the building remained occupied throughout the construction process. To minimise disruption to residents, extensive client and resident liaison was essential. The team demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and accommodate the needs of occupants.
The existing building structure presented additional complexities, requiring thorough investigation and alterations to the original design. Despite these challenges, the project was completed on time and to the highest standards. The new façade features Rainscreen Cladding and Europanels, providing a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish.
