GPF Lewis was delighted to be entrusted with the revitalization of the Medawar Centre for Biodiversity and Environmental Research at University College London. The project involved a comprehensive refurbishment of part of the second floor, transforming outdated laboratories into dynamic and inspiring spaces that would foster collaboration and innovation.

Our design vision was to create a space that reflected the vibrant and diverse world of animals, flora, and fauna. By incorporating elements of nature and biodiversity into the interior design, we aimed to inspire researchers and visitors alike. The result was a bright, welcoming environment that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

A key focus of the project was sustainability. We were committed to achieving the highest possible environmental standards, and we're proud to announce that the Medawar Centre was awarded SKA Gold status, a first for any project at University College London. This achievement demonstrates our dedication to creating sustainable and responsible buildings that benefit both the environment and the community.
