Jacksons Lane Theatre

Known for being one of the most popular arts and culture venues in North London. Jacksons Lane Theatre has undergone a full transformation.

Completed and handed over in phases the building underwent extensive demolition and re-build of the current foyer area to create a new ground floor entrance and allow space for a colourful café bar and kitchen, reception and associated communal areas.

New rehearsal spaces were constructed, with Studio 2 being built as a new room within a current room and being completely isolated from the existing floor, walls and ceiling. This was achieved using special sprung mounts to meet the design requirements.

The main Theatre and Auditorium were updated with new storage areas and lighting and other internal structural works were carried out including all new MEPH and lift installation.

Externally scaffold was erected to conduct major masonry and roof repairs, a new disabled ramp was formed to allow assessable access to the main entrance. Hard landscaping and external lighting was then installed to finish off the space which will provide a new creative hub for performers and the community.
