This development was complicated by the fact that we had to retain the facade and roof of this property whilst digging the basement & wine cellar below. Construction was further hindered by an underground stream running through the centre of the site. Secant Piling systems were used along with complex de-watering systems while the basement was constructed.
 

As the property was in a conservation area, careful planning and approval for all materials used in the superstructure had to be sought. The property was fitted out to a very high standard as would be expected in this prestigious location.
